Before and after school club
Firbobs out of school club
About the Club
Whilst our base is the Childrens Centre we also have access at times to the Hall and the outdoor play areas at the back of the school. During the summer months we often visit Higher Bebington Park. Outside we have lots of fantastic equipment to support physical play, whilst indoors we have games and craft activities in abundance. We promote free choice so children are able to choose what activities they do each night.
Our Club supporting Town Lane School was our very first one, commenced in 2006 and the plan was for Carrie and Yvonne to look after 16 children (5 would have been theirs) with all the children being from Town Lane with a few siblings at Higher Bebington Juniors. The first night there was 4 staff and 20 children and created the foundation to Firbobs today. After nearly 10 years of being co-located, Breakfast Club in the Childrens Centre, the after School and Holiday Club at Grange United Reformed Church, we now operate from the Childrens Centre only. The club is very popular and no wonder given the range of activities that the team support each morning and night.
Breakfast Club Opens at 7.45am until the start of the school day - £3.75 per child per day.
After School Club closes at 5.30pm - £7.50 per child per day.
Holiday Club(based at Bebington Children Centre) operates from 7.45am until 5.30pm during school holidays and inset days. Click here for further details about holiday club.

Menus and Snacks
We adhere to the Food Standards for Schools so that the children get not just a healthy breakfast/afternoon snack but a tasty one.
Children are able to choose the snack and help prepare it. There is a different snack each night we provide hot and cold breakfasts/snacks this varies according to the weather. We also love to participate in many themed activities that involve food such as Farmhouse Breakfast Week and Chinese New Year, which allows us to extend the range of foods available. Fresh Fruit and Water is also available at all times for the children to enjoy.
Our tasty breakfasts include: Sugar free breakfast cereals, toast, fruit loaf, crumpets, muffins, malt loaf and bagels, with a choice of topping of butter, jam, lemon curd or fresh fruit. Typical
Some of our favorite snacks are: Soup and rolls, cheese meat and salad wraps, noodles, beans/spaghetti on toast, tuna pasta bake, jacket potato's and fillings, make your own sandwiches, crumpets and muffins, yoghurt and fruit, pasta and sauce, savory rice and fruit keabs/smoothies.
